Finally, after almost a year, I have time to begin this blog! I've been kind of busy this past year trying to adjust and keep up with a young buck who doesn't like to nap. I can't believe Silas will be one year old in just 8 days. Where has the time gone? Oh wait, I know, it's gone to dirty diapers, cutting teeth, runny noses, no napping, hmmmmm, what else! I can't complain in the eating area; he's got that covered. He has tackled the culinary arts like a champ (he takes after his mommy!). The boy eats cardboard, grass... wait a minute, I mean duck, venison, pheasant, steak... filet mignon at that!... chicken, dove, all vegetables (even parsnips and raw spinach), he loves his food seasoned with garlic, shallots and a variety of other spices.
